Thanks to Dave Witt and others of the Florida Palm society, my palms are identified scientifically and with common names.  The names are in blue as identified.  Thanks for the help!

Palm Trees in our back yard

There are numerous varieties of Palms here in south/central Florida.  

Most are imported years ago.  

Some of the Native Palms can be considered somewhat of a pest.  

We'll start inside the porch and walk around the yard.

 

This is my favorite indoor guy.  I got him at Home Depot for about $40.  

It puts out a new frond about once every month or so.
